Chinese cities observe Earth hour
2022-03-29 15:43:46 , Source : Ecns.cn(ECNS) -- The Bell Tower, Drum Tower and other landmarks in Xi'an, north China's Shaanxi Province switched off lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Saturday to answer the call of Earth hour 2022.
Other cities across China also participated in this event.
Earth hour is observed on the last Saturday of March every year. It focuses on "Shape Our Future" this year.
Every year millions of people worldwide participate in the event to raise awareness about climate change and saving energy.
All who participated switched off lights in their homes and workplaces for one hour.
