Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Hall

Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Hall is a state-level museum as well as the AAAA scenic spot. It is located in Baota District, Yan’an. Founded in January 1950, it is one of the revolutionary memorial halls that were built at the earliest time since the founding of new China. It is one of the must-go places for tour of revolution or travel in Yan’an.

The memorial hall has more than 35,000 pieces of cultural relics, more than 5,500 historic photos, more than 12,000 volumes of books and materials. Among them are more than 1,700 pieces of level-I and level-II cultural relics, as well as more than 100 types of journals and magazines published during the Yan’an period.
