Maweiyi Folk Culture Village

Maweiyi, also known as Maweipo, is located in Xingping City, Shaanxi Province, about 11 kilometers west. Maweiyi is about 39 km away from Xi'an Xianyang Airport, 53 km away from the Xi'an North Railway Station. It is based on the tomb of Concubine Yang, with the Huangshan Palace built up in the background. Every place just reflects characteristics of the Tang Dynasty.

Maweiyi is the first staging post in ancient Silk Road out of Chang’an to the west. The main theme of Maweiyi Folk Culture Village is the "culture of ancient staging post". It’s an ecological place, which integrates the new concept of "farming culture and folk culture".

Maweiyi Folk Culture Village is located in Li Jiapo Village, Ma Wei Office of Xingping. With Huangshan Palace Daoist culture and miserable love story of Yang Guifei and Tang Minghuang as the background, it took rational advantage of its natural table land terrain, gully terrain and abandoned cave dwelling courtyard and was built and protected without changing the original. It is the National AAAA Level Scenic Spot and won the title of "China's most beautiful village" in CCTV selection of the most beautiful countryside in 2015, and the 2015 Spring Festival holiday visitors reached about 140 million people.

2.Transportation

Xi'an route:

Take bus to Xingping in the West Station of Xi 'an, to get off in Xingping and transfer to No.1 Bus to Maweiyi stop.

Xianyang route:

Take No.4 bus in the northwest corner of Qichangshizi, Xianyang to the downtown of Xingping. Transfer to N0. 1 Bus and get off at Maweiyi stop.
