Located in the north of Qin Mountains in Chang’an county, Xi’an, 20 kilometers away from Xi’an, Cuihua Mountains Landslide Scenery National Geopark is one of the first 11Geoparks authorized by National Land Resources department in March, 2001 and is one of the first unveiled national parks in China as well. In the park, the highest peak Zhongnan mountain elevates above sea level by 2604m with total area 32km2 and is one of the developed fullest from landslide. With its most complete diversity of landslide appearance, most typical structure, most beautiful landslide appearance, most typical structure, the largest scale and highest tourism value, the park is the most unusual in China and abroad, as demonstrated with search by Shaanxi Sci-tech Information Research Institution, well-known as a Chinese landslide miracle scenery and geological museum.

Tianchi

Tianchi is a dammed lake created by the collapsed rock blocks laterally checking up the Taiyi valley, which is about 600m long by 90-300m wide and 0.138km2 in water area and 7m in average depth. In the water live fish, tortoise and freshwater mussel, the lake is ripples in summer breeze and covered by snow and ice in chilly winter. Such entertaining facilities as rowing boats, speedboats as well as motorboats are provided on the Heavenly Pool. In winter sports activities including skating can be merrily conducted here. Meanwhile, tourists can enjoy the sights of the Laojun Temple Hall reflecting Taoyi religion in the Cuihua Mountains, the Cuihua palace and the Cuihua Templerelated with the legend of the Cuihua fairy maiden. Yifangyuan Ecological Scenic Area

Yifangyuan Scenic Area line in the west of the major landslide area with peaceful, beautiful and mysterious as its most striking feature. Its winding tree-lined path is three thousand meters long and its annual average temperature is 20 degrees centigrade. With blue sky and white clouds above and the ravine water flowing and waterfall dotted, the scenic area gathers up the fragrance of flowers and grasses and accumulates the miraculous power of mountains and rocks. Rambling about in such an enchanting area, you will rediscover your true self and capture the mood that man is an integral part of nature.

Peak season (March to November): 70 CNY/person;

Low season (December to February of the following year): 45 CNY/person.

Half fare:

Half price discount for children of 1.2-1.5 meters, namely 35 yuan/piece;

6 years old (not included) -18 years old (inclusive) minors, full-time university bachelor degree and below students with a half-ticket with their own student certification, that is 35 yuan/sheet.

Free ticket:

Children under 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters, must be accompanied by a guardian);

The vehicle entry fee is 50 yuan/piece, and vehicles with more than 12 seats (including 12 seats) are not allowed to go up the mountain.

By bus:

From Xiaozhai, take bus No.905 and get off at Cuihuashan Station.
