2025 Conference of Shaanxi Entrepreneurs opens in Xi'an

On May 20, 2025, the Conference of Shaanxi Entrepreneurs was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi. The conference established comprehensive communication platforms and created cooperative scenarios for Shaanxi entrepreneurs both domestically and internationally.

The conference invited over 800 representatives, including leaders of central and provincial state-owned enterprises, executives of Fortune Global 500 companies, renowned domestic and foreign business partners, overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, foreign investors, representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas Chinese business communities, Shaanxi entrepreneurs within and outside the province, distinguished experts and scholars, representatives of Shaanxi-related social organizations, friendly chambers of commerce, and industry associations, as well as diplomatic representatives of consulates in China from Belt and Road Initiative partner countries.

A signing ceremony was held at the opening ceremony of the conference. Focusing on four trillion-yuan industrial clusters and comprehensive rural revitalization, the conference selected 24 representative industrial investment projects for signing, with a total investment of 12.1 billion yuan. Among them, there are 7 strategic emerging industry projects (3.288 billion yuan), 4 advanced manufacturing projects (1.97 billion yuan), 5 modern energy projects (3.12 billion yuan), 5 modern agriculture and rural revitalization projects (2.064 billion yuan), 2 cultural tourism projects (0.86 billion yuan), and 1 Belt and Road economic and trade cooperation project (0.8 billion yuan).

The 2025 Conference of Shaanxi Entrepreneurs was co-hosted by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, Shaanxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shaanxi Sub-Council, and the General Association of Shaanxi Entrepreneurs. Special events such as Shaanxi entrepreneur-themed forums, alumni homecoming, and overseas networking activities were also held during the conference.

The Conference of Shaanxi Entrepreneurs is an innovative platform established by the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee and the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government. Its purpose is to promote investment, attract talent, and facilitate cooperative development for new entrepreneurs from Shaanxi, both at home and abroad. This platform aims to support those who have invested in Shaanxi, formed connections with the province, and contributed to its growth. As a result, global organizations of Shaanxi entrepreneurs have been able to expand, fostering closer exchanges, deeper cooperation, and increasingly significant roles in the community.
