Xi'an holds China-CELAC Internet Development and Cooperation Forum

Cyberspace Administration of China and the People's Government of Shaanxi Province have opened the China-CELAC Internet Development and Cooperation Forum in provincial capital Xi'an on May 15.

The two-day event aims to deepen exchanges and cooperation between China, Latin America, and Caribbean countries in the internet field, promote the coordinated development of the digital economy, and build an international internet technology and industry cooperation platform.

Approximately 400 people have attended the forum, including representatives from Chinese, Latin American, and Caribbean governments, ambassadors to China, representatives of international organizations, think tanks and the media.

The event includes three sub-forums: "Sharing Opportunities for Digital Economy Development", "Maintaining Cyberspace Security", and "Discussing the Development and Governance of Artificial Intelligence". A cybersecurity training course will also be held during the forum.
