China-Central Asia Youth Development Dialogue was held in Xi'an
On the first anniversary of the China-Central Asia Summit, to further promote the initiative of enhancing youth exchange and cooperation as outlined in the Xi'an Declaration of the China-Central Asia Summit, the China-Central Asia Youth Development Dialogue, hosted by the All-China Youth Federation, was held in Xi'an on May 20. More than 150 representatives from the youth departments and youth organizations of the five Central Asian countries, fields of economy, technology, and media, students from Central Asian countries studying in Shaanxi, and youth representatives from various sectors in Shaanxi gathered here, starting the dialogue themed with "strengthening youth cooperation for green development".
The Chairman of the All-China Youth Federation, Xu Xiao, expressed his hope during the meeting that more young people aspiring to strengthen China-Central Asia relations would get to know each other in such activities, continuously voicing the youth's support for China-Central Asia unity and cooperation, injecting the power of youth into the common development of China and Central Asia, and working together to build a community with shared future between China and Central Asia.
The Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province, Dou Jingli, stated that the dialogue will allow Chinese and Central Asian young fellows to continue the long-lasting friendship, open up a new future, jointly build bridges to enhance friendship, exchange dialogues, and promote cooperation and development.
During the event, a list of China-Central Asia youth cooperation projects and a youth exchange program between Shaanxi and the sister cities in five Central Asian countries were announced. Moreover, the Shaanxi Provincial Association of Young Entrepreneurs, the Shaanxi Federation of Youth E-commerce, and relevant enterprises signed a memorandum of cooperation with commercial associations from Central Asian countries, further promoting cultural exchanges and economic cooperation among the six nations and enhancing mutual friendship.
