Xi'an announces 10 distinctive commercial districts

The Xi'an municipal bureau of commerce recently designated 10 distinctive commercial districts for the year 2024.

Located in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, the selected areas are the Grand Tang Mall, the Longest Day in Chang'an, Xi'an Joy City, Gpark commercial district, Zhongmao Plaza pedestrian street, Flavor Street of the Silk Road in the Tang West Market, Sihai China Town pedestrian street, Fucha town, Bailuyuan Studios pedestrian street, and the Old Market cultural and creative block.

The Grand Tang Mall has gradually formed a layout featuring various music performances, street performances, and festooned vehicle parades. It also features commercial complexes, intangible cultural heritage displays, internet-famous cultural and creative products, and leisure dining establishments.

The Longest Day in Chang'an is the first immersive entertainment and commercial shopping complex in the country to have a Tang Dynasty (618-907)-theme.

This year, in order to optimize its consumption environment, the Xi'an municipal bureau of commerce will coordinate and promote the transformation and improvement of 10 other commercial districts, create about 10 new nighttime consumption gathering areas, establish 42 high-quality 15-minute convenience life circles, and introduce a number of well-known consumer brands and enterprises.
