Xi'an airport's total passenger traffic exceeds 20m
With the peak summer travel season approaching, the Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, has witnessed a surge in daily flights and passenger volumes.

As of July 7th, the airport had handled more than 970 flights and over 140,000 passengers in a single day, with the total passenger volume surpassing 20 million, making it the 10th airport in China to achieve this milestone.
In recent months, the airport has resumed and expanded its international routes to Central Asian destinations such as Tashkent, Bishkek, Almaty, Astana, and Ashgabat, as well as European cities such as London and Moscow, and Asian cities including Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, Nha Trang, and Kathmandu, totaling 19 international routes.

During the summer travel season, the airport will actively work with various airlines to increase passenger capacity and deploy wide-body aircrafts on popular tourist routes to Urumqi, Hangzhou, Sanya, Changsha, Nanjing, and Xiamen.
Going forward, the airport will continue to provide faster and more convenient services to passengers, ensuring a safe and orderly travel experience.
