Xi'an airport launches service experience week
A grand event with a fun cultural and historical twist – called the "Dream Back to Chang'an · Fly as You Want – Service Experience Week" – was launched on Dec 16 in terminal T3 in Xi’an Xianyang International Airport in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Members of staff dressed in Tang Dynasty (618-907) costume can be seen throughout the the terminal building, creating an all-round immersive Chang'an ancient culture atmosphere for passengers.
During the event, passengers are invited to present their air tickets in exchange for documents resembling a passport in ancient times and they can get staff members at the terminal to stamp them.

Passengers who collect two stamps can enjoy a priority boarding service. For those with enough time, travelers who manage to get four stamps can win such things as mouse pads, cultural and creative backpacks, eye masks and other gifts.
Recently, the aviation market has recovered rapidly and the traffic volumes of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport have rapidly rebounded.

The number of the airport's daily inbound and outbound flights can now total 470 flights, with the number of passengers hitting 50,000.
Plans are for the airport to increase flights to Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Urumqi, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kunming, Haikou, Sanya, Shenyang, Jinan, Changsha and other cities.
It is estimated that in the coming week, the airport will handle nearly 600 daily flights and more than 65,000 inbound and outbound passengers.
