Xi'an intl entrepreneurship competition wraps up
The Qinchuangyuan · Xi'an International Entrepreneurship Competition came to an end in Xixian New Area on Dec 15.
The competition, launched in May, lasted for seven months. It saw 115 projects make it to the final round and 40 win prizes.

The competition focused on three major fields: high-end equipment manufacturing and new material technology, biotechnology and medicine, and information technology and artificial intelligence.
During the competition, nine policy presentations and 15 investment and financing matchmaking activities were held, and 267 million yuan ($38.3 million) in investment and financing was obtained for 23 projects.
Since 2017, the Xi'an International Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held six times, attracting tens of thousands of projects from more than 20 countries including Israel, Germany, Belgium, and Japan and more than 40 cities including Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Hangzhou.
A total of 55 projects have obtained financing amounting to nearly 4 billion yuan through the competition, and 24 non-local teams and projects have moved into Xi'an.
