Xi'an Aiju Group contributes to China-Kazakhstan trade
The Xi'an Aiju Grain and Oil Industrial Group – located in the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – is making a major contribution to the burgeoning trade and commerce with Kazakhstan.
It has exported China's agricultural technologies to Kazakhstan and further processed the imported agricultural products of Kazakhstan. At the same time, it has taken advantage of Kazakhstan's good land conditions for planting and initial processing.
Currently, the Aiju Agricultural Products Logistics Processing Park has become an important project for China-Kazakhstan green cooperation.

"With the opening of the China-Europe freight train, Kazakhstan's grain and oil products can reach Xi'an in about 10 days and the transportation cost is greatly reduced," said Liu Dongmeng, deputy general manager of Aiju Group.
Kazakhstan is one of the world's major grain exporters with great potential for agricultural development.
The Aiju Group – together with Northwest A&F University, Kazakhstan National University and local farms – has established a new type of contract agricultural cooperative, guiding local farmers to diversify and quantify planting by means of order purchases and driving the employment of local farmers.

"After cooperating with the Aiju Group, the planting area of our farm has been expanded from more than 600 hectares to 20,000 hectares and the transportation and sales of agricultural products have also been guaranteed," said a farm owner in Kazakhstan.
"In the future, we plan to increase the planting area of oil crops, especially rapeseed, because of its high price and production," he added.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kazakhstan. Plans are for the two countries to embark on new ventures for mutually beneficial commerce and trade.
