This theater, featuring the grand performance "The Great Qin," is the main building of the first phase of the Shaanxi Cultural Arts Museum (complex) project.
The theater is situated in Fengdong New City, within the Xixian New Area, and is adjacent to the ruins of the ancient E-Pang Palace. This impressive building features three stories above ground and two stories below, measuring 220 meters in length and 66 meters in width, with a total area of 32,000 square meters. It can accommodate 1,500 audiences. The building's distinctive protruding eaves and robust rammed-earth architecture reflect the essence of Oriental aesthetics, specifically highlighting the cultural heritage of the Qin Dynasty and bringing the spirit of that era to life.
On September 27th, the large-scale Qin culture-themed performance "The Great Qin" had its global premiere at this newly constructed theater. Unlike traditional performance venues, the performance was designed first, followed by the theater's construction. This innovative theater differentiates from the conventional proscenium stage, incorporating a dynamic seating arrangement, multi-space traversal stages, and multimedia visual effects. As a result, it has become the world's first high-tech moving theater and Asia's largest indoor immersive theater, offering audiences a completely new artistic experience.
On November 8, the "The Great Qin" theater stage successfully set a Guinness World Record, earning the title of "Largest Theater Stage".
As of November 10, "The Great Qin" had been performed 54 times, achieving an occupancy rate of over 98% and attracting more than 80,000 audiences. This resulted in total sales exceeding 14.8 million yuan.
