The festive air is heating up in Xi'an

As the Spring Festival is getting close, it's time to do some shopping. In Xi'an, major supermarkets and wholesale markets have begun to promote various products featuring the "dragon" zodiac sign, including toys, decorations, New Year's pictures, and clothing. 

The bustling market at the Northwest Smallware Exchange Center brought a strong festive atmosphere to the Spring Festival for the Year of Dragon. Dragon dolls, handicrafts, red envelopes, and related decorations are all on display. Products bearing the patterns of auspicious dragon are all very popular.

At the square, stall owners are always busy promoting their products. At 10 a.m., the stalls are already crowded with surrounding residents for shopping.

The festive atmosphere is in full swing at the Renrenle Supermarket on South Park Road. According to the supermarket manager, there are currently over 7,000 kinds of products related to "dragon" in the supermarket, with a stock of over 10 million items.

The Chinese New Year's Eve dinner has always been the highlight of the festival. With nearly a month left until the Spring Festival, reservations for the Chinese New Year's Eve dinner are also heating up. Tian Yonggang, Director of Food and Beverage of the Xi'an Golden Flower Hotel, said that bookings have kept coming for the Chinese New Year's Eve dinner since mid-December. "Based on our booking history in recent years, reservations may peak in mid-January. In addition to Spring Festival Eve, the second to fifth day of the festival is also a peak period for people to dine together."
