Huang Teng, the chief designer of the "Tianzi Chang'an" chimes, also the president of Xi'an International University, introduced that it took ten years of planning, designing and casting to come up with this complete set of chimes, which were cast under strict accordance with the ritual music system of the Zhou Dynasty.

Xi'an International University particularly built the Drum Music Grand Theater to deliver the performance of these chimes. It also hired creators from professional fields to sort out and create chime repertoire. Furthermore, there will be international tours coming up.

The "Tianzi Chang'an" chimes set has a total length of 2,155 centimeters and a total height of 290 centimeters, consisting of 111 bells. The patterns of dragon, fish, and rope mainly refer to cultural relics of the Zhou Dynasty unearthed in Shaanxi, exerting extraordinary cultural power.
