The Tang Dynasty (618-907) was a fascinating and inspiring dynasty, whose influence radiated out to neighboring countries, also to China and the world in later generations.
During the event, eight museums are combining forces to provide interdisciplinary accounts of the Tang Dynasty's role in Chinese history – involving history, geography, economics and the humanities.
Through the stories behind 30 precious Tang Dynasty cultural relics, the event is expected to rekindle the public's fascination with the dynasty.
On applets in various WeChat public accounts, including the Xi'an Museum Lezhi School (西安博物院乐知学堂), the event's content will be updated for 30 consecutive days, with people able to participate and listen for no charge.
