With Xi'an's continued development into an international metropolis, several Mexican restaurants have opened there in recent years.
Like Chinese food, Mexican food has a long and storied history. It relies heavily on corn, potatoes, peppers, beans and other ingredients, accompanied by special spices and dipping sauces, with distinctive flavors and rich colors.
A Mexican meal usually includes appetizers, soups, snacks, salads, mains, desserts, and more.
Peter's Tex-Mex Grill located on the South Second Ring Road in Xi'an is a western restaurant specializing in Tex-Mex dishes. It opened in Xi'an in 2012 and has a history of 10 years.

The white fence around the restaurant gives the place a pastoral feel. Its colorful floors, gorgeously patterned tabletops, and Mexican-style decorative paintings create a vibrant atmosphere. The chefs are professionally trained to produce authentic Mexican dishes, which are very popular among young people and foreigners in Xi'an.
According to the foreman, some foreign teachers from colleges and universities in Xi'an are frequent patrons of the restaurant, often holding gatherings there, hosting Thanksgiving parties or ordering turkeys.
For fans of Mexican food, the Burger No 18 Brewery on South Avenue is also a good choice. The restaurant's open floor plan is simple and stylish, and the dazzling array of wine bottles and glasses give the restaurant a unique atmosphere.
