As temperatures rise, so do ice cream sales. In response, various tourist attractions in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, have launched a variety of creative and cultural ice creams.

These ice creams combine the characteristics of scenic spots with history and culture, and are popular among the public.

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum

The terracotta warrior-shaped ice creams of Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum are available in milk and chocolate flavors. The majestic terracotta warriors appear a bit fatter and cuter in ice cream form.

It is reported that for every terracotta warrior ice cream sold, the museum will donate 0.5 yuan ($0.07) to the Terracotta Warriors Cultural Relics Protection Fund.

Shaanxi History Museum

The Shaanxi History Museum's "Spirit Beast" series of cultural and creative ice creams are based on the museum's treasures, including a thoroughly restored golden monster.

The ice cream series has four flavors – chocolate, yellow peach, vanilla, and matcha – each of which is unique and distinct.

Xi'an City Wall

Combining current fashion trends with the essence of Xi'an ancient culture, the Xi'an City Wall launched "city wall flavor" ice creams, which are shaped like the Yongning Gate and the Yulin Army with helmets and armor.

The ice creams have four flavors: mango, matcha, chocolate, and strawberry.
