Festival in Xi'an promotes intl art exchange

The 7th Silk Road International Art Festival came to a close in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Dec 6.

During the six-day festival, 26 performances at home and abroad were held, including Qinqiang Opera, dramas, children's dramas, ballet and symphonies.

Through 11 overseas social media accounts, this year's event allowed overseas audiences to appreciate the performance and exhibition activities online.

The acrobatic ballet Swan Lake was performed as the closing act of the festival. This combination of Chinese and Western works is a testament to the effectiveness of the Silk Road and the integration of Silk Road culture.

The Silk Road International Art Festival has been held six times since its establishment in 2014, and it has settled permanently in Shaanxi.

With the strong support of countries and regions along the Silk Road, the Silk Road International Art Festival continues to expand, with increasing brand value and improving international reputation.
