Story of the work: Xi'an Olympic Sports Center is the main stadium of the 14th National Games, also the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies, and athletics and swimming and diving events. The stadium of Xi'an Olympic Sports Center is themed with "Sailing on the Silk Road, Flower of the World". The pomegranate flower, also the city flower of Xi'an, is the central concept of the design. 28 pomegranate petals are paired with the V-shaped pillars, outlining the beautiful shape of the stadium. The gymnasium of Xi'an Olympic Sports Center is themed with "On the mellow Loess Plateau, there is a dream of Chang'an", paying tribute to the high platform and palace hall of ancient Chang'an. The 16 diamond-like flying eaves reflect the hard-edge style of the high platform. The Swimming and Diving Stadium applies the elements of "鼎 tripod", and the combination of 58 decorative pillars and glass curtain wall expresses the symbolic meaning of "The Golden Age of China".
