The Fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened to the public on November 5. At the exhibition area of Shaanxi, a series of cultural exchange activities under the theme "A Taste of Sanqin · Charming Shaanxi" were held, which involve 4 categories and over 360 displays, such as time-honored brands, intangible cultural heritage, and cultural and creative products.

The exhibition area takes "Sanqin Vibe" as the creative theme, coming up with sub-areas such as "Walking Street", "Natural Scenery", "Landmark Architecture" and "Time-honored Brands and Intangible Cultural Heritage". The external walls feature in panoramic screen with dynamic videos to present Shaanxi's regional characteristics, rich history and culture.

The exhibition area also focuses on time-honored products of Shaanxi, intangible cultural heritage cuisine, wine, tea, fruit, dairy products and other quality products. Inheritors of intangible cultural heritage cuisine were invited to demonstrate their cooking skills and craftsmanship on site, and the visitors surely had a feast.

The design of the exhibition area draws inspiration from "water sleeves (long sleeves)", a traditional performing skill of Qin Opera. It combines the sleeve-shaking motion with the eaves and arches of the exhibition area buildings, integrating digital technology. A refreshing image of Shaanxi just pops out under the spotlight.

Multiple dance performances were also held at the exhibition area. Through the traditional dances and the interactive performances of the "ladies from the Tang Dynasty", the glory of Grand Tang and its profound history are vividly demonstrated in front of the visitors.

"Grand Tang All Day Mall" at the expo

"Grand Tang All Day Mall" as the "National Pedestrian Street" has been displayed at the expo three times in a row. Via on-site performances and cultural and creative products, it well showcases the metropolitan prospects of the Tang Dynasty.

Inspired by the celebrities of the Tang Dynasty, these cultural and creative products of the Grand Tang All Day Mall, which have already developed into featured IP, attracted many visitors.
