31st Yangling Agricultural Fair attracts 1,800 enterprises

The 31st China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair kicked off on Friday in Yangling, Shaanxi province, attracting over 1,800 enterprises from 28 provincial regions and 49 countries.

The five-day event features a range of activities, including exhibitions, conferences, investment and trade opportunities and product launches. It showcases achievements in core provenances, key agricultural machinery and equipment, agricultural water conservation and smart agriculture from domestic and international agricultural research institutions and enterprises.

In addition to an indoor exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, the fair includes seven comprehensive exhibition points and 13 visitation points within the Yangling demonstration zone. Online and offline components are being conducted, such as virtual exhibitions, negotiations and livestreaming for product sales.

Co-hosted by the China Agro-technological Extension Association and the China Agricultural Exhibition Association, the fair will also feature the finals of an apple competition, an agricultural robot application competition, expert services for agricultural consultation and training, as well as roundtable meetings and exchange activities on modern agricultural development.

Since its establishment in 1994, the Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair has attracted over 30,000 agriculture-related enterprises and units from 34 domestic provincial regions and over 70 countries, with more than 34 million visitors and participants. The fair has showcased over 190,000 new agricultural technology achievements, applications and projects, facilitating investments and transactions exceeding 1 trillion yuan ($140 billion).
