Qi Zhifeng, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from Northwest China's Shaanxi province, has announced his intention to submit two proposals at this year's national Two Sessions, which are underway in Beijing.

Qi is also the vice president of the China Association of Auctioneers, and chairman of Shaanxi Tianlong International Auction Co.

The two proposals focus on further improving health examinations for primary and middle school students and on establishing more community libraries to enhance the quality of life for local residents.

Qi stated that with the development of modern society, new changes have emerged in the physical and mental health of Chinese primary and middle school students. Some physiological and psychological health issues are now increasingly common in younger individuals, making it urgent to improve health examinations for young people.

Therefore, Qi proposed improvements and plans to include psychological assessments in health check-ups, as well as enhance the information management of these health examinations.

Additionally, after conducting research, Qi found that community libraries are important places for providing community and cultural services, often referred to as "libraries at the doorstep". To better promote China's excellent traditional culture, Qi believes that enhancing reading habits is crucial.

Qi suggested that relevant departments should reasonably plan the functional areas of community libraries, optimize management mechanisms, and improve the operational efficiency of community libraries.

Over the years, Qi has continued to focus on enhancing people's livelihoods, ensuring that several proposals have been implemented, and effectively driving the prosperity of the people.
