Finishing work on the four new passenger railway stations—Niubeiliang, Zhashui West, Zhen'an West, and Ankang West—along the Xi'an–Ankang High-Speed Railway is complete. Acceptance inspections are underway, and station forecourt construction is being accelerated.

The Xi'an‑Ankang High-Speed Railway forms a key section of the Baotou‑Yinchuan‑Haikou and Beijing‑Kunming corridors under China's Medium‑ and Long‑Term Railway Network Plan, which features the "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high‑speed rail network.

This newly‑built main line stretches around 171 kilometres with a designed speed of 350 km/h. It comprises six stations: Xi'an East, Niubeiliang, Zhashui West, Zhen'an West, Tongmu and Ankang West.

Niubeiliang Railway Station

Niubeiliang Station is located in Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. Its station building is designed around the concept of "A Historic Post Hub Linking Qin and Chu, Picturesque Mountain‑Valley Realm", capturing the lush, gorgeous natural scenery of the Qinling mountain‑valley landscape.

Zhashui West Railway Station

Zhashui West Station adopts the design theme of "Pioneer City of Zhongnan Mountains, Eco‑Friendly Zhashui".

Zhen'an West Railway Station

Zhen'an West Station is located in Zhen'an County, Shangluo City. Its design draws inspiration from "Zhen'an in Tang Dynasty Charm, Reinterpreting a Prosperous Era".

Ankang West Railway Station

Ankang West Station is situated in the High‑tech Zone of Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. The station building is conceived under the design theme: "Grace embodied in the graceful Han River; grandeur inherited from the Qinling‑Daba mountain ranges".

Once the Xi'an‑Ankang High-Speed Railway opens to traffic, the fastest travel time between Xi'an and Ankang will be cut from roughly 3 hours to under one hour.
