Xi'an visual-effect company joined Ne Zha 2
As of 11:30 AM on February 9th, the box office revenue for the highly anticipated animated film Ne Zha 2 has reached 7.633 billion yuan, ranking 46th on the global box office chart.
Since its release on January 29th, Ne Zha 2 has consecutively broken 93 box office records, including the highest-grossing film of all time in the Chinese Mainland, the highest-grossing global film of 2025, and the highest-grossing film in the Chinese Mainland in 2025.
The film was supported and produced by 138 Chinese animation teams, representing a collaborative effort within the Chinese animation industry. At the heart of this "pride of Chinese animation" is a visual effects technology company based in Xi'an—Xi'an Digital Monster.
