Xi'an holds cultural tourism promotion event in Australia

The "Chang'an Moon, Digital Verse" Xi'an cultural and tourism promotion event, recently held at Sydney Town Hall in Australia, attracted thousands of Australians and overseas Chinese to witness the cross-border convergence of digital technology and the culture of this ancient capital.

The event used cutting-edge technologies, including AI and virtual reality (VR), to present Xi'an's historical heritage and modern development. After experiencing VR, an Australian citizen said, "The feeling of overlooking the Terracotta Warriors is shocking, I completely forgot that I am still in Sydney!"

In addition to offline digital experiences, the event launched the Xi'an Literature and Art Exhibition Season and an online food-culture sharing event, allowing Sydney residents to appreciate Xi'an's unique charm from multiple perspectives.

The event marked an important step in deepening cooperation between Xi'an and Sydney, and an innovative practice for promoting the internationalization of Xi'an's cultural tourism, building a solid foundation for friendship between China and Australia.
