Northwest University hosts Belt-and-Road-themed seminar

The academic seminar on high-quality development and economic corridor construction under the Belt and Road Initiative was held on Nov 1 at Northwest University, Xi'an.

Experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and universities including Renmin University of China, Shanghai International Studies University, and Xi'an Jiaotong University, presented reports on various topics, including "Promoting the co-construction of the 'Belt and Road' mechanism".

During the themed discussion, a representative of Xi'an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co, along with five experts, scholars, and five doctoral and master's degree graduates from various universities, delivered speeches on topics such as "building the China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) assembly center".

The seminar thoroughly discussed ideas and paths to high-quality development and economic corridor construction under the Belt and Road Initiative, both from theoretical and practical perspectives. It also promoted collaborative innovation among universities, research institutions, and enterprises.
