​Xi'an to host 11th Silk Road International Art Festival

The 11th Silk Road International Art Festival will be held from Oct 16 to Nov 9 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

The event has attracted participants from over 120 countries and regions with nearly 7,200 artists having staged 307 plays and exhibited more than 4,500 artworks. It has become a significant bridge for cultural exchange between China and other countries.

This year's art festival is divided into four main sections: "Opening and Closing Ceremonies", "Stage Art Performance", "Silk Road International Art Exhibition" and "International Cultural Exchange". Artists from countries and regions such as Russia and Hungary will present a total of 34 plays and 46 performances.

Through diverse cross-border art dialogues, the public can fully appreciate the unique charm of Silk Road culture.

The art festival will also feature a series of activities such as "Art Museum Night", creating an interactive experience that brings art into citizens' everyday lives.
