Qinchuangyuan Platform empowers Xi'an's airport economy

In recent years, the Airport New City of Xixian New Area has optimized its industrial layout and deepened international cooperation with the help of Qinchuangyuan Industrial Park, focusing on building a modern airport industry system.

The Airport New City plays a significant role in resource aggregation and sharing, industrial synergy and innovation, and service guarantee. It strives to develop two characteristic industrial parks, an airport industry cluster, an area for the convergence of innovative elements, and a region with core competitiveness.

The Airport Economic Industrial Park focuses on industries such as aviation maintenance and manufacturing and electronic information, with a usable area of 438,200 square meters and a sell-through rate of over 80 percent.

As of the end of 2024, a total of 350 aviation maintenance and biopharmaceutical enterprises and projects, including Shaanxi Sintek Aviation Technologies Co and Pharmaron, had settled in the industrial park, with an output value of 3.7 billion yuan ($515.14 million).

The park is also committed to creating more opportunities for local enterprises to go global. Events like the Qinchuangyuan Industrial Park enterprise exchange salon provided a platform for entrepreneurs to share practical experience and seek opportunities for cooperation.

The Airport New City is making strong multidimensional progress, expanding and strengthening the aviation industry cluster, and bolstering the city's airport economy.
