"Foreign" Farmers Talk on Agricultural Technology in the Fields

On June 8, just before the second International Dialogue on Civilization Day, 22 international students from seven countries studying at Northwest A&F University visited the Zhangcun Circular Agricultural Park, a model of collective rural economy in the Yangling Demonstration Zone, for an in-depth exchange with China’s modern agricultural practices.

Anvar from Uzbekistan showed keen interest in the integrated crop-livestock circular agriculture model. Through numerous visits to rural China, he gradually became a "China expert." Seeing how waste straw in the industrial park is transformed into high-quality, nutritious feed for young lambs, the sight clearly delighted him: "I am still exploring China and constantly learning about its planting and breeding techniques."

In the cherry orchard, smart equipment known as "Greenhouse Manager" caught the eye of Ethiopian student Freweyni. With just a single app, key environmental metrics, such as light, temperature, and humidity inside the greenhouse, were displayed at a glance. After trying the controls herself, she remarked, "This is truly an impressive technology. I hope to bring this technology back to my home country."
