Upgraded classic show debuts in Xi'an

On February 1st, the 2026 fully upgraded version of the dance drama "Song of Everlast Sorrow" premiered at the Huaqing Palace scenic area of Xi'an. On its opening day alone, the performance was held three times consecutively, attracting nearly ten thousand spectators. As a golden cultural tourism brand of Shaanxi, "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" has consistently adhered to the philosophy of "keeping performances fresh through continuous innovation," deeply integrating cutting-edge technology with the aesthetics of the Tang Dynasty to offer audiences a more profound immersive cultural experience.
This upgrade focuses on creating an all-encompassing, deep immersive viewing experience. By further adjusting the seating layout, the overall visibility and viewing comfort have been effectively enhanced. The newly introduced computerized lighting system more precisely illuminates the night scenery of Lishan Mountain and the imperial grandeur, outlining the poetic nighttime landscape of the palaces on Lishan Mountain.
