Shaanxi releases the first batch of 15 major innovation application scenarios

On July 22, the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission launched the first batch of 15 major innovation application scenarios at the Qinchuangyuan·Shaanxi Innovation Product Roadshow Center in the Xixian New Area. The initiative serves as a future-focused invitation for collaboration, encouraging interested enterprises to connect with leading scenario builders and share in policy benefits and market opportunities.

These scenarios cover fields such as advanced manufacturing, smart energy, smart cultural tourism, low-altitude economy, smart healthcare, cybersecurity, smart transportation, and clean energy. Each scenario comes with clear application goals, technical requirements, market demands, and supporting policies, providing precise and clear directions for research and development for technology enterprises and universities, while also addressing the transformation and upgrading needs of large enterprises and the growth of small and medium-sized tech startups.

Application scenarios bridge the innovation and industrial chains, turning breakthroughs from “bookshelves” into market-ready products. Last November, the national government made its first systematic push for scenario cultivation. This April, Shaanxi tailored the strategy to local needs, releasing an action plan to accelerate scenario development and large-scale adoption. The plan establishes a comprehensive system, outlines clear pathways, and focuses on creating three types of benchmark scenarios through platform carriers. The goal is to drive seamless integration of technological and industrial innovation, fueling the rapid construction of a modern industrial system with Shaanxi characteristics.
