The technology service industry in Xi'an's Airport New City reached 364 million yuan ($53.78 million) in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 24.6 percent. The growth rate has exceeded 20 percent for seven consecutive quarters.

Airport New City has focused on scientific and technological innovation and stepped up the tiered cultivation of enterprises in recent years, driving the rapid development of its technology service industry.

The number of industrial enterprises above designated size rose from one in 2023 to four in the first half of 2026, the annual industrial revenue jumped from 8.6 million yuan in 2023 to 364 million yuan, and the industry's revenue share of Xixian New Area surged from 0.25 percent to 22.36 percent, with its influence growing steadily.
