(1)Lintong Pomegranate

Lintong Pomegranate, having a history of more than 2,000 years, features a thin and red peel, large size, bright color, and delicious taste. It is said that pomegranate was introduced to China when Zhang Qian visited the western countries along the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty.

(2)Xifeng Liquor

Xifeng Liquor is produced in Fengxiang, a county to the west of Guanzhong. With a history of more than 2,600 years, the liquor is one of China's eight famous liquors and widely sold across the world.

(3)Northern Shaanxi Red Dates

Northern Shaanxi Red Dates, mainly produced in Yichuan, Yanchuan, Qingjian, Wubu, Jiaxian, Shenmu, Fugu and other counties along the Yellow River, are world-famous due to the big size, small core, thin peel, thick pulp, pure flavor, high oil content, red color, nice taste, and rich content of protein, vitamins and minerals.

(4)Choujiu Wine

Choujiu Wine, a famous ancient wine also known as "Huanggui Choujiu Wine", was quite popular in the Tang Dynasty. Leaders entertained domestic and foreign guests with the wine. "It doesn't taste like wine, but its taste is better than wine," was Guo Moruo (a famous writer in China)'s praise for the wine.

 

(5)Southern Shaanxi Tea

The north slope of the Bashan Mountain, 28 counties, and districts under the jurisdiction of three Southern Shaanxi cities are the main tea planting areas of Shaanxi. The famous tea brands include Hanzhong Xianhao, Ziyang Se-enriched Tea, Shangnan Quanming, Dingjun Mingmei, Hanshui Yinsuo, and Wuzi Xianhao, and the renowned black tea Jingwei Fu Tea made of southern Shaanxi tea leaves.

(6)Walnuts

The northern region of the Weihe River and the Shangluo prefecture are the famous producing areas of walnuts and rank China's No. 1 in annual yield. Walnuts are healthy because of their high content of protein, vitamins, and minerals.

(7)Apples

Shaanxi Apples, a world-famous brand, are honored as a national gift thanks to their supreme production and quality in China. The Weibei Plain and Loess Plateau of Shaanxi are the most appropriate region for growing apple trees thanks to the sufficient sunshine and moderate diurnal amplitude. Thus, the apples are sweet, crisp, dainty, juicy, and flavorful.

(8)Lintong Fire Crystal Persimmon

Lintong Fire Crystal Persimmon, a unique persimmon in Lintong featuring small size, red color, bright appearance, thin peel, and small core, is greatly favored by domestic and foreign guests.

(9)Actinidia Chinensis

Actinidia Chinensis (Chinese kiwi fruit), is the size of walnuts or goose eggs. With breen peel and green pulp, the fragrant and sweet fruit has high nutritional value. It can also be processed into juice, wine, and jam.

(10)Fuping Dried Persimmon

It is also called Fuping Dual Pie and made of high-quality persimmon produced in Fuping. It is a round, transparent, flesh-colored candied fruit without seeds. The frosty ones are reddish-white, crisp in peel, and soft in pulp. Two persimmons are placed oppositely in a package, thus called Dual Pie. It is nutritious and has a medicinal effect on the lungs, blood and stomach and relieves coughs.

(11)Qin Pepper

Qin Pepper, known as "the king of peppers", is a sort of bulk export of Shaanxi and widely sold in the global market.

(12)Northern Shaanxi Millet

It refers to the millet produced in Yan'an and Yulin of northern Shaanxi. The sufficient light, heat, and temperature difference between day and night contribute to the growth of millet plants. The mature plants become the yellow and sweet millet through simple processing. Thanks to the advantageous natural conditions, the millet absorbs plentiful nutrients and boasts rich nutrition. It is a highly recognizable Shaanxi specialty.
