Lewa Adventure

Lewa Adventure is the first roller coaster theme park in China with 8 different types of roller coasters, of which the 1.3 km (0.8 mile) long “Flash Roller Coaster” is the longest and fastest roller coaster in Asia. It operates at 120km (74 miles)/hour and serves as the landmark project in the whole park. As the largest roller coaster theme park in Asia, Lewa Adventure not only houses the most roller coasters in China, but also offers 33 other groups of amusements, and over 100 interactive projects and performances for visitors to enjoy a happy time. They are scattered in six theme zones: Panda Farm, Echo Valley, Megalith and Mountain, Forest with Stars, Moon Lake, and Joyful Plaza.

Panda Farm

There are 8 recreational facilities at Panda Farm, among which White Horse Roller Coaster, Rainbow Umbrella, and Cute Bees’ Team are the major amusement projects. The White Horse Roller Coaster is a romantic and thrilling recreational project. When you take the “Troy Horse” operating in a 500 meters (545 yards) long track, you will begin a thrilling adventure with climbing, diving, and falling. The Rainbow Umbrella raises you tens of meters high and falls rapidly, which makes you feel rising into the sky and dropping onto the earth in a short time. If you come here with your child, the Cute Bees’ Team is a good project for you to ride the bees to fly.

Echo Valley

Echo Valley consists of 6 amusement projects, including: Dragon Spine, Mining Pioneer, 4D Theater, Pirate Ship, and Merry-Go-Round. The Dragon Spine is one of the greatest roller coasters in the park. The flying roller coaster is like a huge dragon rapidly diving, turning, hovering, which make the riders and viewers both shocked and thrilled. After experiencing the exciting Dragon Spine, you can take the tram traveling through a winding mine. Although it is slower than Dragon Spine, you can still experience high speeds.

If you need a mitigation period, you are suggested to try the Merry-Go-Round, the canopy of which is splendid, as are the horses inside, which are colorful and magnificent. When riding the horses, leaping and rotating to relaxing music, you may feel like a princess in fairytale world.

After experiencing dreamy Merry-Go-Round, you might come to the Pirate Ship. If you are a thrill-seeker, you are suggested to sit at the back of the ship in order to fully feel the excitement when the ship rocks up and down. Near the Pirate Ship, there is also a performance of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Besides that, the 4D Theater is worth a visit. It is equipped with advanced digital technology, so that spectators wearing 4D glasses can see multi-dimensional images on the screen. Sitting in the dynamic seats, the audiences can experience many kinds of special movements, such as falling, shaking, blowing, and spraying. It makes the audience feel they are personally on the scene.

Megalith and Mountain

This zone in Lewa Adventure has six recreational rides, of which Flash Roller Coaster, Flying Ship Surfing, Walk in Space are the major projections. The Flash is not only the most thrilling roller coaster in the whole park, but also the landmark amusement facility in Lewa Adventure. Rapid rising and diving make you feel the excitement of weightlessness and centrifugal state.

Flying Ship Surfing is another shocking project. Riding the rafting boat and experiencing a variety of dangers, you will see a huge wave when you plunge down from 30 meters (32 yards) high point. Then we come to “Walk in Space” zone. If you are looking forward to becoming an astronaut, this is a good chance for you to experience spacemen’s life in weightlessness.

Forest with Stars

The main facilities in the Forest with Stars are: Thor's Hammer, Train in the Valley, and Flying in the Sky. Thor's Hammer swings at a wide range with a speed of 100 meters (109 yards)/hour. You just scream and enjoy when you are in the seat. Train in the Valley is another roller coaster project, which can make you panic and despair at the highest point when passing through the up hills, down hills and curves. Flying in the Sky can take you to 48 meters (52 yards) height to approach the clouds. You will rotate and fly around the huge pillar in the center, like a free bird, enjoying the fun journey in the sky.

Moon Lake

This is a multi-functional square filled with relaxing entertainment just behind the front gate. On both sides of the square, there are various stores, such as: present stores, department stores, and leisure bars. You can buy presents or souvenirs in these fairytale stores.

Joyful Plaza

Tips:

1.Visitors with heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, spinal disease, acrophobia, pregnant women, and drunk people are banned for some projects.

2. Children below 1.2 meters (3.9 feet), the old over 65, and disabled visitors should be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

3. Outdoor facilities close during severe weather, when a movie will be shown in 4D Theater continuously.

4. Some projects have limitations regards visitors’ height and weight.

How to get to Lewa Adventure

This is located in Jinghe New City, Xi’an-Xianyang District, Shaanxi Province.

1. By free shuttle bus: Take the free shuttle bus from City Sports Park to Lewa Adventure directly. The bus departs from 09:00 to 14:30 every 30 minutes. The boarding point is 300 meters (330 yards) north of Exit D, City Sports Park Station on metro line 2. The bus returns at 18:00 and 18:30.

2. By city bus: Take bus No. 315 inter-zone Line at Shaanqi Welfare Region Station, and get off at Lewa Road, or take bus No. 316 inter-zone Line at West Xi’an Bus Station, and get off at Lewa Road. The two bus lines operate from 6:50-19:30.
