Bailu Yuan (White Deer Plain) Movie and TV City

Bailu Yuan (White Deer Plain) Movie and TV City is in Qianwei Town of Lantian County of Shaanxi Province, 36 km away from Xi'an. It is the first comprehensive scenic area of Shaanxi Province that has integrated cultural tourism, movie and TV production, cultural recreation, children gaming, excellent art performance and cate tasting into one, built on the basis of the Mao Dun Award-winning novel Bailu Yuan (White Deer Plain) by the late famous Chinese writer Chen Zhongshi, through pseudo-classic architecture, scene restoration and art performance.

The scenic area has the longest sightseeing stairway of Asia for outdoor panoramic view, the largest cinema of Northwest China with a broad special-effect screen, and other facilities such as the exciting and shocking strop slideway. The movie and TV shooting, movie and TV tasting and excellent art performance have constituted a great feature of the park.

Bailu Yuan Movie and TV City was put into trial operation on July 16, 2016. Mr. Jiang Feng, vice-governor of Shaanxi Province, and Chen Mianli, daughter of Chen Zhongshi, raised the curtain for the opening of Bailu Yuan Movie and TV City.
