In addition, a splendid cultural experience area was set up where citizens and tourists could try on traditional hanbok and Jeju haenyeo clothes.

The chief representative of the Xi'an Office of the Korea Tourism Organization said that these kinds of cultural exchanges would almost certainly boost China-South Korea relations.

He said that this year's experience activities were all offered at no cost, in the hope that through this event more Chinese people would warm to South Korean culture.
