On December 10th, the China-Philippines International Economic, Trade and Culture Exchange Forum was held in Xi'an. Jose Santiago Romana, Philippine Ambassador to China, and Yuan Mindao, Secretary-General of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, attended the ceremony. Vice Governor of Shaanxi Zhao Gang addressed the opening ceremony.

It also has unique geographical advantages and great potential for development. This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the Philippines. In particular, on November 15th, the ten ASEAN countries, together with China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, total fifteen countries, formally signed the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which promises a bright future for China-Philippines cooperation. This forum will be an opportunity for both countries to deepen practical cooperation at a higher level and in more diverse areas, strengthen local humanistic and cultural exchanges, and further broaden cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, education, agriculture and tourism, so as to work together for win-win development.
