Intl logistics industry expo kicks off in Xi'an

The 12th Western China International Logistics Industry Expo and 6th China (Xi'an) Intelligent Transportation Expo kicked off on Sept 15 in Xi'an – capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – and the event will run to Sept 17.

Hosted by the Xi'an municipal government, the expo covers an exhibition area of 16,000 square meters, with more than 100 exhibitors participating.

Fourteen exhibitors have set up over 180 sq m of large stands each at the event.

Compared with previous editions, this year's expo is being held both on-site and offline for the first time.

It is displaying more of the latest scientific and technological achievements, as well as leading technologies and solutions in the sector, and is aiming to bring an immersive experience to visitors.

The expo has set up two exhibition areas for logistics industry and smart transportation. They are focusing on modern logistics, China-Europe freight trains, multimodal transportation, logistics equipment, transportation, transport construction and smart transportation.

A number of key activities will be held during the expo. These include the 2nd Belt and Road Land-sea Intermodal Transport Corridor Cooperation Forum and the China-Europe Railway Express and Multimodal Transport Summit – together with the 1st Western Smart Logistics and Smart Manufacturing Integration Innovation Development Forum.
