Moringa Fuzhuan Tea, a Combination of Traditional Techniques and Innovative Technology
Experts are tasting the moringa fuzhuan tea.
On April 26, members of Shaanxi Province Tea Association, led by Zhou Haiying, board chairman of Xianyang Jinyang Trade Co., Ltd and the originator of the moringa fuzhuan tea, investigated the newcomer into the fu tea industry, the moringa fuzhuan tea.
Fu tea started from West Han Dynasty and got prosperous on the Silk Road and the ancient tea routes, though they disappeared for some time because of change of time. 21st century brings fu tea back to contemporary life and it is loved by tea drinkers. Those fu tea are mostly made following the traditional techniques without much innovation.
Zhou Haiying said, “Moringa is a plant that has special health effects. I got to know about it about 6 years ago and after 4 years of exploration and experiment, researchers and experts finally found the new recipe which was generally loved.” It is learned that moringa, a type of perennial tropical deciduous tree, was first found in Northern India and now mass planted in Yunnan, Guizhou of China. As its root, stalk, leaf all have medical effects, it is regarded as a tree of life in many countries in India and Africa. According to scientific researches, moringa leaves have a variety of minerals, in which the iron content is three times of that in spinach, the calcium content four times of that in milk, and the protein content two times of that in spinach, of equal weight. In addition, it is found that moringa has a number of amino acids that are indispensable for human. Last but not least, there is a special “flowering” process in the cultivation of moringa fuzhuan tea which produces golden umbrella-shaped eurotium cristatums, commonly called “golden flower”.
The Heavenly Blessing series of moringa fuzhuan tea was produced in 2016, and this new brand has drawn much attention since the initiation of “the Belt and Road” and starting of the Pilot Free Trade Zone. With more people at home and abroad getting to know about the tea culture and its heath concepts, the new Moringa Fuzhuan tea, a combination of traditional techniques and innovative technology, will promote the fu tea industry to a new level.
