Taibai Mountain, the main peak of the Qinling Mountains, stands at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, China. It spans three counties in Shaanxi, namely Meixian County, Taibai County, and Zhouzhi County.
Baxiantai in the park, which is 3771.2 meters above sea level, makes Mt.Taibai the highest peak in the region east of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. The Qinling Mountains are a natural barrier between the south and the north of China, as well as the watershed between the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. With a huge drop, towering mountains, and ever-changing weather, Qinling Mountains have long been known for their mystery, sacredness, beauty and uniqueness.
