The following is the biographical sketch of Hu Heping:

Hu Heping, male, born in October 1962, is from Linyi, Shandong Province. He entered the workforce in August 1986 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in June 1982. He has a postgraduate education and holds the degree of Doctor of Engineering and the professional title of professor.

He is currently an alternate member of the eighteenth CPC Central Committee, deputy secretary of CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, governor of Shaanxi Province, and secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group.
