Huanglong: a paradise of fresh air

Huanglong County is located in southern Yan’an City, Shaanxi Province, with an average elevation of 1100m. Lush woods and humid weather endow it with pleasant scenery all year around. Here, the negative oxygen ions can reach 18,000 per cubic centimeter, and the average temperature in summer is 21℃. Therefore, Huanglong has the reputation of the “Shangri—la on the Loess Plateau” and “the lung of Shaanxi”. Covering 87% of the region, there are 645 kinds of plants and 122 kinds of animals in the forest in Huanglong, which makes it a true animal park and a natural botanical garden.
