The Mausoleum of Yellow Emperor

According to the Records of the Grand Historian, the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor, located in the Beiqiao Mountain in the north of Huangling County, Yan’an City, Shaanxi Province, is the one and only grave of the Yellow Emperor, the primogenitor of the Chinese nation. It has been proclaimed as one of the first batches of key cultural sites under state protection, the National AAAAA Scenic Spots, and the National Demonstration Base for Patriotic Education. It has been regarded as the “Ancient Tomb No.1” and “The First Mausoleum of China”.

Shaanxi is the birthplace of the Chinese people, Yan’an is the soul of the Chinese nation, and the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor is the sign of the spirit of Chinese civilization.
