A sea of sunflowers appears on the South Street of Xi’an

A row of potted sunflowers are put on Xi’an’s South Street, attracting bees to harvest honey and citizens to take photos. The sea of sunflowers is a hundred meters long and about four meters wide with a path through it, where people can wander and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

According to the sunflower gardener, it is rare to use sunflowers as the green decoration in Xi’an, especially in such an unprecedented scale. These potted sunflowers are irrigated and fertilized with dripping tubes. As long as the sun keeps shining, there will be a perfect time to appreciate the flowers in a few days, when they are in full bloom.
