Thousands of Xi’an students took the “Little Archaeologist” examinations

On May 27th, middle school students from all districts and counties of Xi’an took part in the written examinations on the ruins of the Hanyuan Temple at the Daming Palace in Xi’an. On that day, the “Little Archaeologist” activity was held at the Xi’an Daming Palace National Heritage Park. Thousands of middle school students from nine districts and five counties of Xi’an took part in a special “final imperial examination” on the ruins of the Hanyuan Temple at the Daming Palace. The students competed for the title of “Archaeology Star” by participating in written examinations and final selections based on the history of the Great Tang Dynasty (650 – 820), the archaeological knowledge and the Silk Road culture.
