The beautiful night view along the Shichuan River

As the longest river in Fuping County, the Shichuan River zigzags southeast towards the Weihe River from the fork-shape mouth near Yaoxian County in northwestern Fuping County.

On the night of April 25th, the research and interview group of the “All Media Action” of the Shaanxi Daily went to the Shichuan River to enjoy the charm of the county-level integrated development of leisure tourism in Fuping County.

As night falls, the panoramic view of the wide and clear river, the wetlands with swimming fish as well as flying birds can be seen from the newly-built two-way four-lane Shichuan River Bridge.

It is known that the Shichuan River will be developed into a new scenic spot for Xi’an residents to enjoy their holidays, and help preserve the health and taste of local delicacies. The environmental governance for the Shichuan River running through Fuping County is part of the overall construction of the Four Seasons Health Town. In the next five years, projects and facilities will be put into place, including agriculture and forestry tours, waterfront tourism and the snack street under the theme of “blossom valley”. When it is completed, the Shichuan River will become an open waterfront space with the integration of ecology, tourism, water management and landscaping, and a new, bright and symbolic landmark of the ecologic network in Fuping County.
